Important supplements for women

I have been on my wellness journey for 2 years now, trying to find the right supplements & learning about my body through this process.

What I realized is that my body was very smart at showing me what I needed & what vitamins I needed at what time. Your body has that capability, this is why listening to your body’s needs is so important!

The vitamins I recommend for all women:

  1. ZINC

    Zinc is great for immunity, skin & cell formation

  2. OMEGA-3

    Very important one for women! This one is good for working with your feminine energy. It helps with balancing hormones. Good to take around your period.

  3. MAGNESIUM

    Magnesium is great for mood & also a good one to take during your monthly cycle

  4. IRON

    This is a very important vitamin for us women & sometimes we do not get enough of it from food

  5. VITAMIN D

    The god vitamin! such an importance one for hormone balance, mood & overall health.

  6. B-COMPLEX

    One of the most important one for women! B-complex is great for so many functions of the body & we generally do not get enough of it from food, this is why taking a complex is so vital for us women

importance of omega-3

Try to get enough omega-3 daily, but also listen to your body because sometimes our body craves more of it ESPECIALLY DURING OUR PERIOD. Or during major healing phases.

Ways to get omega- 3 is by eating sardines, which is my personal favourite. I do not like popping a pill, I rather eat sardines which is super high in omega & rich in the necessary fatty acids!

Importance of B-COMPLEX

B-complex is one of those very important vitamins for women, from my own experience my body craves it. I believe its one that we don’t get enough from our diet.

Remember to see your doctor or naturopath regarding the right supplements for you, usually its good to update supplements every few months if needed.

What I learned on my wellness journey

What I learned was that I was my best healer & that I know what I need to help my own body. This is true for us all, we just have to tune inwards. I believe that eating the right foods & getting these 6 important vitamins in your diet can really important your well-being. Remember, that you can get all of these from foods too.

Sometimes your body will crave a certain food for a reason, it doesn’t mean that everyday you need to take these vitamins. Follow intuitive eating.

In order for your body to heal or regenerate, it has t have the right diet. Otherwise, your body will not be able to go into a healing state. Diet plays a role in this, this is why detoxing & eliminating certain toxins is important.
