Aromatherapy for the soul

Today I went into Saje Wellness — one of my favourite places to get essential oil. I was specifically looking for Sage for clearing & protecting. I ended up connecting with the sales associate on a very deep intimate soul level! I found out she is a yoga teacher & she was very interested in my work. It was such a lovely connection! This happens to me so often now, I connect with people on a soul level. This is just a story from today I felt like sharing on this post as it relates to essential oils!

However, this post is about how aromatherapy has changed my life. It is also about how I have used aromatherapy as part of my spiritual healing & practice. I will also discuss how you can use aromatherapy for healing, mood & to enhance your feminine energy.

I started using aromatherapy or essential oils as part of my self-care routine & it soon became a practice I started incorporating whenever I was going through heavy healing symptoms. This greatly improves my state of mind & balances my emotions making me feel better every time I would use essential oils! This is also a very spiritual practice & always enables me to reconnect with my soul!

Aromatherapy for healing:

I believe aromatherapy is a great way to aid your healing process by using the right essential oils. If you are in a deep healing then you can use aromatherapy as part of your self-care practice.

These are a few I recommend for healing:

Lavender oil- calming, mood & for bedtime. You can also add a few drops of this to the bath to help with healing.

Frankincense - this one is great for sacral chakra healing, so you if are going through sacral chakra healing I would recommend this one. You can apply this directly on your sacral area for soothing!

Sage - This is great for balancing emotions, relaxing & just in general mood. It will help alleviate anxiety & fear.

Aromatherapy for mood:

These are some of the essential oils you can use for boosting your mood when the ascension symptoms gets tough:

  • Patchouli

  • Citrus scents - Mandarin, Bergamont, Tangerine

  • Sandalwood

  • Rose

  • Clary Sage

  • Camomile

  • Lavender

  • Ylang-ylang

Aromatherapy for feminine energy:

To enhance your feminine energy & power or when working to activate it, I recommend a blend by Saje Wellness called “Goddess” which is one I used myself in my diffuser through my feminine healing.

This is the blend I personally used.

I also recommend:

  • Anything citrus like tangerine or lemon or a mixture

  • Rose

  • Sage

  • Cedarwood

  • Magnolia

Aromatherapy is wonderful for wellness & self-care practices. It is easy to incorporate it into your routine, all you need is a diffuser. Or you can apply it directly on your body or add it to your bath. For me I use it mainly in my diffuser & in the bath. I would like to learn more about using it on my body instead of perfume!

Perfume is highly toxic & over the last year I have switched all my toxic unnatural skin-care products to something more natural. Therefore, using essential on your body as a perfume is also a wonderful & natural alternative to toxic perfume!

 Application methods:

  • Massage onto the base of the skull

  • Rub on the inside of the elbow

  • Use an essential oil diffuser

  • Apply a drop to the palms and inhale

  • Rub into the wrists and carry the aroma with you all day
